Northern Twin Cities suburb dwellers, cabin owners and lovers of “Up North Minnesota” beware:
MNDOT has released plans for a $39 million construction project for a six mile stretch of the I-35 corridor. Beginning just south of the I-35W and I-35E split near Lino Lakes and ending north of Forest Lake, the plans include road resurfacing and replacement of three bridges – Hwy 8 over I-35; Hwy 97 over I-35 and I-35W over I-35E – as well as updating sidewalks at Highway 97. The projects will begin June 2017 and are scheduled to run to November 2018.
