Florida Senator Marco Rubio announced he is suspending his campaign after Donald Trump took all 99 Florida delegates in yesterday’s “mini super Tuesday.”  Meanwhile in Ohio, however, Governor John Kasich held his own state and won its 66 delegates, bringing the Republican Party closer to a contested convention.  Any candidate needs 1,237 delegates to win the Republican nomination.

Trump went on to win in North Carolina and Illinois, and at 2 AM was still in a virtual tie with Texas Senator Ted Cruz in Missouri.

On the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton won in Illinois, North Carolina, Ohio, and Florida, with the New York Times reporting at 1:32 in the morning that Missouri was still too close to call.
