Reward Offered In Edina Jewelry Store Burglary

Edina Crime Prevention Fund, a private entity, will give $3,000 to whoever has actionable information about a recent burglary.

The Edina Crime Prevention Fund is offering a $3,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and charging of the people responsible for a recent burglary at an Edina jewelry store.

The burglary occurred in the early morning hours of May 28, during the second night of rioting and looting that occurred in Minneapolis and surrounding areas following the death of George Floyd while in police custody days before.

The press release from Edina states that just before 3 a.m., a group of people forced their way into R.F. Moeller Jeweler, located at 5020 France Ave. S. in Edina, MN. The group smashed display cases and stole jewelry.
