Unplanned

Pro-life movie Unplanned had a blockbuster opening weekend with over $6 Million dollars in sales. This is the second-best start ever for Pure Flix who was the film’s distributor.

The film which is currently showing in theatres all over Minnesota was financed partly by Minnesota CEO and Creator of popular MyPillow Mike Lindell.

The film even got a mention from Vice President Mike Pence who tweeted “So good to see movie theaters across the country showing — a deeply inspiring new pro-life film based on the best-selling book by . More & more Americans are embracing the sanctity of life because of powerful stories like this one.

The movie’s success is even more amazing because of a number of major TV networks have refused to run Ads promoting the film. Additionally, in a surprise move, Twitter had briefly suspended the official twitter account for the movie with no explanation.

The motion picture association also in a controversial move gave the movie an R rating even though people who are under 18 can legally get abortions and movies with more violence and sex have been released without an R rating.

The movie had a budget of $6 Million dollars and is expected to more than double that in sales.
