Police Warn of Attempted Abduction Near U of M Thursday Morning

The Minneapolis Police Department has issued an alert about an attempted abduction in the Marcy Holmes neighborhood early Thursday morning.

The Minneapolis Police Department has issued an alert about an attempted abduction in the Marcy Holmes neighborhood early Thursday morning.

The alert stated that early Thursday morning at approximately 7:10 a.m., 2nd Precinct Officers responded to investigate a report of a possible attempted abduction near the 400 block of 6th Street SE.  The victim resisted and was able to break free and called 911.

Responding Officers canvassed the area to try and locate any witness. Suspect is described as a white male, 6’ tall, thin build, wearing blue hoodie and blue sweatpants. Minneapolis Police are investigating this incident.
