Minneapolis, MN- A new phone app available for iOS and Android could help reduce voter fraud.
“VoteStand,” a free app developed by the election integrity organization, True the Vote, gives citizens a platform in which to report voter fraud and election irregularities. Using high-level encryption and geo-location technology, the app makes reporting evidence of voter fraud simple. Downloading the app takes seconds; registration requires a name and email, after that the app is ready to go. VoteStand users can upload a photo and a report of potential voter fraud directly to the app where it can be reported to social networks and local authorities. Reports from other app users are available as well as a section containing all the latest news from True the Vote.
As Alpha News has reported, the Minnesota Voters Alliance has been granted an expedited hearing for their election judge lawsuits at the Minnesota Supreme Court on Friday, Nov. 4. A group of election judges brought a lawsuit forward against Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon. The group says Simon’s directive to election judges to allow felons and other ineligible people to vote if those people claim to be eligible is a form of election fraud.
Examples of voter fraud have been reported around the country. In Colorado, a CBS4 news investigation uncovered a dozen of cases of people voting twice and “ballots cast in the names of Coloradans who had been dead for months– sometimes years- before votes were cast in their names.” In Iowa, as reported by the Des Moines Register, a woman was arrested for voting twice, and in Illinois, authorities are investigating allegations of attempted voter bribery in Kankakee county (Kankakee Valley Daily Journal). Fox News has also reported that in Texas, poll machines are switching voters’ choices from one candidate to another. On October 28, 2016, two election workers were arrested for altering ballots and registering dead people to vote (Washington Times) in Miami-Dade County in Florida.
Videos by Project Veritas Action, led by James O’Keefe, also showed democrat operatives actively planning and admitting to massive voter fraud across the country, as Alpha News reported.
There are a variety of organizations that are in place to assist citizens’ fight for election integrity. One organization is True the Vote.
True the Vote, a national non-profit, non-partisan organization based in Texas, was founded in 2009. According to the group’s website, True the Vote, “exists to inspire and equip volunteers for involvement at every stage of America’s electoral process. We provide training, technology, and support to fellow citizens so that they can ensure election integrity in their own communities.”
