The new executive director of the Minnesota Republican Party once called on former President Donald Trump to “get the f— out of the White House.”

Minnesota GOP Chair Jennifer Carnahan appointed Andy Aplikowski as the party’s new executive director, she announced in an email Tuesday.

“I’m a lifelong Republican and I’m calling for the immediate resignation of [President Donald Trump],” Aplikowski wrote on Twitter following the Jan. 6 riots at the U.S. Capitol. He has since deleted his Twitter account.

“Get the f— out of the White House, Republican Party, and Washington and take your anarchist rioters with you,” he added.

Aplikowski previously served as the political director of the state party and ran for the Minnesota Senate in 2016. According to MinnPost, he sported a “Never Trump” pin to the 2016 Republican National Convention.

Carnahan was re-elected to a third term by party delegates earlier this month. She defeated state Sen. Mark Koran, despite allegations that she created a toxic and vengeful work environment.
