The Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) has released a video of robbery suspects from earlier this month and is asking the public’s help in identifying them.

MPD is asking for help in identifying three robbery suspects. The suspects are shown in this surveillance video from the strip mall at 2852 26th Ave S. The incident occurred on August 5th, 2019 at about 1:30 PM.

The adult female victim was riding her bicycle behind the business when she was struck by a white Toyota Camry. Three young Somali males exited the Camry, one pushed the victim to the ground and took her purse. All three suspects got into the Camry and fled the scene going southbound. The suspects are also believed to be responsible for a purse snatching at the Wells Fargo (2600 E Franklin Ave) approximately ten minutes after this incident. The Camry was later determined to be stolen and it was recovered unoccupied several hours later.

The police ask that anyone who has information to reach out to Crime Stoppers of Minnesota or leave a tip electronically at CrimeStoppersMN.org.
