Dean Phillips and Angie Craig have been consistently voting with Ilhan Omar on most major issues. Craig and Omar have voted together in 90 percent of their votes. Meanwhile, Dean Phillips is even more line with Omar, voting together on 94 percent of their votes.
Both Minnesota Democrats have refused to condemn Ilhan Omar for pushing anti-Semitic tropes.
RNC Spokesperson Preya Samsundar sent a statement criticizing both Dean and Craig “From their calls for impeachment to their extreme voting record, Angie Craig and Dean Phillips have put their constituents on the backburner and their personal ambitions at the center of their disastrous platform. Minnesotans won’t forget how Craig and Phillips sided with Ilhan Omar and the far-left over them.”
The only Minnesota Democrat to not publicly support impeachment proceedings so far has been Collin Peterson however he joined the rest of the Democrat caucus against voting for a resolution condeming the impeachment proceedings.
