After Ilhan Omar’s issued a bizarre apology for her latest comments it seems that she is doubling down on her conspiracy that Jewish organization is secretly paying off politicians and running the US government.
After her apology, Omar began running paid Facebook ads saying that she will “not be silenced.” It’s not clear who Omar believes is trying to silence her. Omar additionally asserts that Republicans have declared “war” on Omar and asks people to sign up to donate to her monthly to help her “fight back”
Despite Omar representing Minnesota, according to Facebook, she has chosen to run her fundraising ads nationwide with only 7% of the ads running Minnesota. Facebook estimates that she has purchased between 50,000 – 100,000 Facebook ad impressions.
Ilhan Omar recently refused to discuss her apology with CNN and has even lashed out at reporters who asked about her role on the powerful House Foreign Affairs Committee.
