In 2013 a Muslim jihadist terror group Al-Shabaab committed a brutal attack on a Kenyan shopping mall. Four terrorists stormed a mall killing 70 people and wounding 200.

In a video unearthed by Fox News, Ilhan Omar and controversial Twin Cities PBS talk show host Ahmet Tharwat discuss how the terrorist attacks are “byproducts of the actions of our involvement in other people’s affairs”

Fox News reports that the same talk show host also gave a platform to anti-semite who participated and won 2nd place, in 2006 Iranian International Holocaust Cartoon Competition. A competition promoting Holocaust denial. The talk show is sponsored by taxpayer dollars and is part of Public Broadcasting Service.

During their discussion, Omar stated  “Usually most people want to not look internal and see what their actions that make another react. For us, it’s always ‘I must have not done anything. Why is it happening to me?’ Nobody wants to take accountability of how these are byproducts of the actions of our involvement in other people’s affairs.”

The views of Omar are under scrutiny since she was appointed to the powerful Foreign Affairs Committee.
