DNC Caught Paying for Protests at MN Trump Events on Video

In a video released by Project Veritas Action (led by President James O’Keefe) today, Democratic National Committee (DNC), Hillary Clinton campaign and PAC (Priorities, USA) officials are caught discussing potentially illegal campaign tactics.  In the video, officials discuss the hiring and training of protesters sent to deliberately disrupt and cause violence at GOP and Trump events.

The group that works as the intermediary between the DNC, Clinton Campaign and other PACs is “Democracy Partners” led by Bob Creamer.  Democracy Partners is consulting group that lists Americans United for Change, the Democratic National Committee and the Minnesota DFL Party, along with MoveOn.org, AFL-CIO, American Federation of Teachers, and Congressmen Keith Ellison (D-MN) and Tim Walz (D-MN) among its client list.

In the video, Scott Foval, National Field Director for Americans United for Change, details how the “protests” are “scripted” saying they train the operatives on what to wear, how to behave, where to locate themselves and what to say to incite and trigger sometimes violent responses to their presence.

He goes on to say that they have Trump’s calendar of events in all the cities in which they have groups of people to call upon to attend those groups, stating “…we have to have a central country agitator training…now we have a built-in group of people in New York; we do this we have a built-in group of people in DC…we have a group of people in Minneapolis…”

When discussing where they find the protesters, Foval says they generally will call the local union, like the AFL-CIO, for help, but that they also have hired homeless and mentally ill people to do the work.

In one clip, Foval laments that they need help in Iowa because “it’s a 50/50 state,” but that it is hard because “half of Iowa is racist as f—-” and that “Wisconsin is just as bad…”

In August, Trump supporters were accosted by protesters at a Minneapolis GOP/Trump fundraiser.  The protests were led by the groups MIRAc (Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action Committee), SURJ (Stand Up for Racial Justice), CAIR-MN and Cosecha.

While there is no verifiable connection between Democracy Partners and the groups listed as coordinating the August Trump rally protest, Representative Keith Ellison and the DFL have made it well known their opposition to Trump and his so-called anti-immigration policies.
