Biden Continues To Make Bizarre Gaffes

Said in an innocent, well-meaning voice, the former vice president stated, “poor kids are just as bright and talented as white kids.”

Joe Biden’s unconscious bias has been revealed at a rally in Iowa. Said in an innocent, well-meaning voice, the former vice president stated, “poor kids are just as bright and talented as white kids.” The Democratic candidate has been struggling to recover over verbal blunders in the past few weeks.

Democratic leaders are expressing concern about Biden’s age and agency as the gaffes mount. Trump has taken shots at Joe Biden’s stability, saying that he’s “not playing with a full deck.”

As one democratic sympathizer put it, “[Biden’s words] are an easy target to associate it with his age, rather than just who Joe Biden is. He has always had a propensity to have verbal gaffes, and his opponents are going to play it up.”

Despite being the front-runner in the polls, not all Democrats see the former VP as the prime contender to take down Trump in 2020. Fellow Democratic candidate Kamala Harris has been vocal in denouncing Biden’s record on race; she may use this comment as fodder in the next debate.

Whether he claims to choose “truth over facts,” thinking the El Paso and Dayton shootings were in “Houston and Michigan,” blowing up at a college student, or telling donors to visit the website “Joe 30330,” Biden’s mental game has been off lately.

Speaking the next day after the event, Biden learned from his mistake, kept his remarks brief and used a teleprompter.
