Antifa to target Trump rally, Trump supporters

ANTIFA

The leftwing terror group Antifa has been responsible for violent acts across the country. In the most infamous example, they’ve taken over the streets of Portland, assaulting many. This includes reporter Andy Ngo, who suffered a brain injury after he was attacked by Antifa thugs. Another clip from the streets of Portland, one of many, shows an elderly man bloodied after he was beaten with a crowbar.

And months ago, at the Tacoma, Washington ICE facility, an armed Antifa member planning to kill ICE agents was gunned downed by officers. He was then memorialized by Antifa members nationwide on social media.

Now, in light of President Trump’s Thursday, October 10 rally in downtown Minneapolis, Antifa is threatening the city. An online Antifa post reads: “Trump is having a campaign rally in downtown Minneapolis. He wants to keep America great, but … AMERICA IS CANCELED… Join us to celebrate with an anti-capitalist bloc.” The Antifa leader goes on: “bring your friends, bring your crew and come prepared to disrupt the nightmare that is Trump.”

Minneapolis gets ready

Thankfully, Minneapolis Police Chief Medaria Arradondo has said in a statement that “criminal conduct by anyone, including property damage, will not be tolerated. Those individuals choosing to engage in such illegal behavior will be arrested and we will work with our criminal justice agencies to ensure they are properly charged to the full extent of the law.”

He also said that “our primary responsibility to ensure the public safety of ALL who will participate in practicing their first amendment rights which include Freedom of Speech, Freedom of the Press, and Peaceable Assembly.”

Rest assured that cameras will be rolling to make sure Arradondo sticks to his word. In the past, many cities, including Minneapolis, have not protected Trump supporters.

At a Trump fundraiser in late 2016, leftists spit on, spray painted, pushed, and assaulted Trump supporters. “We were open game,” said a man who attended the event. The man, interviewed by Alpha News, said that officers told him that orders came “from the top” not to apprehend the violent activists. The mayor at the time was Democrat Betsy Hodges.

Several video clips from that night show Trump supporters “running the gauntlet” to get into and out of the 2016 fundraiser. One family is physically threatened and assaulted while leaving. Another clip shows white liberals screaming and appearing to threaten physical violence as a black conservative man enters the building. These clips confirm the Alpha News reporting, as police officers were nowhere to be seen.

Mayor Jacob Frey’s bill suppresses conservative speech

It also isn’t comforting that Minneapolis Democrat Mayor Jacob Frey has been more concerned with brandishing his leftwing credentials—by ensuring police officers can’t show their support of the president, and by denouncing Trump’s visit, saying Trump will “never be welcomed in Minneapolis”—than he is with public safety.

The latest example is Frey presenting the Target Center with a $530,000 security bill, which the Target Center forwarded to the Trump Campaign. But President Obama spoke at the Target Center and received a much lower bill (NBC won’t say how much lower, so you know it was much, much lower).

In other words, because the left is planning to riot, Minneapolis wants to impose an astronomically higher cost on conservative speech. By this logic, all the left has to do is riot, and conservative speech will be suppressed.

If anything, the bill should be sent to the groups rioting, and Minneapolis police should quickly arrest unlawful protestors, instead of treating them with kid-gloves. The problem is that the protestors are Mayor Frey’s buddies.

Groups other than Antifa that plan on protesting include: the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), a group affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood that frequently associates with anti-Semites such as Linda Sarsour; the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME), a far-left union; and Twin Cities Coalition for Justice for Jamar, a group affiliated with Black Lives Matter (BLM).

In a final note, it must be said that none of the mainstream 2020 Democratic presidential candidates have denounced Antifa’s domestic terrorism.
