The February 19th episode of Your Legislators longtime State Representative Tom Hackbarth, R- Cedar, stated that he didn’t think Sunday liquor sales was going to happen this session.
The usual lobbyists have lined up on both sides of the issue. The Grocers’ lobby is again supporting Rep Jenifer Loon, R- Eden Prairie, who will forward the bill again this session to change the current law and allow for Sunday sales. Mark Dayton has indicated he will sign the legislation, if it makes it to his desk.
