ST. PAUL, Minn. – A group of Trump supporters outraged by the attacks by protesters at the March 4 Trump rally are planning an event at the Minnesota Capitol.

The “Protecting Civil Discourse” rally and press conference will be held at the Capitol Rotunda from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday March 25. Organizers of the event are demanding Ramsey County Attorney John Choi, St. Paul’s City Attorney, and other law enforcement officials prosecute the six people arrested during the March for Trump rally on March 4.

As Alpha News reported, the MN State Patrol arrested six people during the March 4 Trump rally; the son of former Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Tim Kaine, Linwood “Woody” Kaine, was part of the group arrested.

Videos of the event show protesters at the rally turning violent: assaulting Trump supporters, setting off fireworks and smoke bombs, and using mace and a taser on Trump supporters. In an exclusive interview with Alpha News, one young Trump supporter detailed her experience at the rally, explaining she was punched in the face by a protester.

Despite video evidence, victim and witnesses’ reports, the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office declined to prosecute the six protesters claiming there was insufficient evidence to charge them with felony riot. The case has been turned over to the City of St. Paul for further investigation and review.

The “Protecting Civil Discourse” press conference and rally will feature speakers including rally violence victims’ testimonies, state lawmakers, and local conservative media personalities.

Alpha News will be covering the event; subscribe to Alpha News for updates on this developing story.
