Local Conservatives Hold Bridge Rally Thanking Trump

EDINA, Minn. – A group of local conservatives gathered in Edina to kick off Memorial Day weekend by openly thanking President Donald Trump for keeping his campaign promises.

On Friday, a diverse group of conservatives gathered on a Minnesota State Highway 62 pedestrian bridge over rush-hour traffic to celebrate the accomplishments of Trump and his administration, calling the gathering the “Promises Kept Bridge Rally.”

The patriotic demonstration was well received by the majority of the evening commuters. The few who were offended by the rally made themselves heard by yelling and cursing out of their windows as they drove by.

The event organizer Rebecca Brannon said the nature of our political climate is a “sad truth.”

“Liberals are so angry and triggered that they are unpredictable,” Brannon told Alpha News. “They were more than just unhappy with us. They were so angry that some of them were hanging outside of their windows while driving.”

The group, which Brannon said shares a “unique bond,” gets together occasionally to express their patriotism and discuss their shared values. They believe that Memorial Day weekend was a fitting choice for the rally.

“We love showing our patriotism and we are extremely happy with President Trump,” Brannon said. “His promises have been kept and now we want to keep America great.”

Brannon organized multiple rallies during the 2016 election and many fellow Trump supporters hope to continue the strong momentum into 2018.
