The University of Minnesota faculty recently reached the voting threshold of 30% of full-time and part-time faculty to require a vote to establish a union. The Service Employees International Union local 284 (SEIU) is the group organizing faculty, and a vote is expected for later this spring. But do students want their professors to unionize? Would they be willing to pay more to see their professors get a raise? Alpha News decided to ask them in order to find out.
