Preya Samsundar was born and raised in Minneapolis, MN. She will be graduating from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities this Spring with a B.A. In Political Science and Sociology, with a minor in Strategic Communications.


Anders Koskinen


Anders Koskinen graduated from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities in 2016 with a double major in Journalism and Political Science. Originally from Madison, WI, he has served as Chair of the UMN’s College Republicans chapter, and as President of Students for a Conservative Voice, and worked in various positions at its publication The Minnesota Republic from 2014-2016, including as Editor-in-Chief his final year.

Andrea Mayer-Bruestle, a life-long Midwesterner, has been writing/blogging since 2008. She also serves as the chair of South Washington Citizens for Progress; a committee formed to hold South Washington County School District ISD 833 accountable to taxpayers.  She created MNHockeyMama blog, which captured national media attention in 2013.

Andrea has made appearances on conservative talk radio shows, including Jason Lewis and Mitch Berg. Her knowledge and research skills have helped guide legislators and political activists across the state.

Christine Bauman is a native-born Minnesotan. She has a B.A. in Communications from Thomas Edison State University, and is currently pursuing an M.A. in Public Policy from Liberty University.


Henry Carras


Henry Carras was born in Long Island, NY, and has lived in Northfield, MN for the past 10 years. He has a B.A. in History and Political Science from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities where he was the Managing Editor of The Minnesota Republic.
